About WRC
World's the most thrilling form of motorsport
In contrast to the circuit racing, rally drivers and their co-drivers compete on real roads in timed stages to achieve the fastest times. Throughout the year, they navigate diverse terrains across four continents. The constantly shifting and often harsh landscapes, some of the most challenging on earth, further solidify the WRC’s standing as one of the most exciting motorsports. By tackling real-world roads and enduring varied conditions, the WRC pushes the boundaries of automotive innovation, cementing its role as a pioneer in the evolution of motorsport.
The Categories
The WRC1 as the primary championship category, while WRC2 and WRC3 are support categories for both manufacturers and private teams. The Junior WRC competes in selected events on the FIA WRC calendar. All tires for classes are exclusively supplied by Hankook Tire, a premium partner.
