FIA Formula E visits São Paulo and Tokyo in March

Following the February break, the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship returns to action in March. The fully-electric world championship will contest two races on two different continents, with the impressive Hankook iON Race again charged with providing optimal grip. The first of March’s two race weekends takes the protagonists to São Paulo (15^th to 16^th March). After the samba spirit in the southeast of Brazil, the Formula E caravan moves on to Japan, where it will make its debut in the capital Tokyo from 29^th to 30^th March. A 2.582-kilometre street circuit with a total of 18 corners awaits the drivers and the Hankook iON Race.

Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America kicks off the new season in Sebring

The Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America visits six racetracks in the USA and Europe in 2024. The Hankook Ventus Race and the drivers in the Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2 kick off the season from 13^th to 16^th March in Sebring, in the US state of Florida. This is followed by the Laguna Seca circuit, which is particularly well known by many motorsport enthusiasts for its iconic Corkscrew corner. The season reaches the midway point at the Watkins Glen racetrack in the north of the USA. The sports car championship then gets the second half of the season underway at Circuit of The Americas (CoTA). Indianapolis Motor Speedway hosts the penultimate round and the final event on American soil. The competitors then travel to Jerez in Spain for the finale, after which the three continental competitions from Asia, Europe and North America will remain in Jerez for the Lamborghini World Finals.

The European season gets underway: 24h Series opens in Mugello

The European season in the 24h Series powered by Hankook gets underway from 22^nd to 24^th March at the Mugello racetrack in Italy. A full field of 40 cars promises to deliver a feast of excitement and entertainment for spectators watching the opening round at the 5.245-kilometre circuit to the north of Florence. All eyes will be on the top class, which features 16 GT3 cars from six premium manufacturers. The sports cars and touring cars will be supported by the Hankook Ventus Race, which has provided maximum grip and a high level of consistency in the popular championship for many years.

Stock Car Pro Series 2024: Season-opener at Autodromo de Goiânia

29 drivers in the Stock Car Pro Series will assemble at Autodromo de Goiânia (Brazil) from 1^st to 3^rd March, as they open the new season on the Hankook Ventus Race. Last year’s champion, Gabriel Casagrande (Brazil) will again take his place on the grid. He launches his title defence on the first weekend in March. The new race format will be employed for the first time at the 3.835-kilometre racetrack. With a 30-minute sprint on the Saturday and a 50-minute main race on the Sunday, fans can look forward to an extra 20 minutes of racing. The races will also feature pit stops, during which the drivers will benefit from fresh Hankook tyres.

Cardenas and Peebles share the championship lead after two events

The first half of the 2024 Formula Winter Series saw a total of 38 drivers line up at the Spanish circuits in Jerez and Valencia. The main protagonists were Andrés Cardenas (Peru) and Griffin Peebles (Australia), who were embroiled in some thrilling battles for the championship lead on Hankook’s premium tyre. Six races into the season, the youngsters are tied at the top of the table on 108 points. The young drivers kick off the second half of the championship in Aragón, Spain, on the first weekend in March. Just one week later, the 2024 season reaches its conclusion at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya (Spain).
