Shanghai International Circuit
When viewed from above the full circuit layout took inspiration from the Chinese symbol 'shang' meaning ascend. Designed by the legendary Herman Tilke the Shanghai International Circuit opened in 2004 for the Chinese Grand Prix and will now play host to all-electric racing some 20 years later.
