WRC’s Historic Gem

The Rallye Monte-Carlo, first held in 1911, is the oldest event in the WRC calendar. Originally designed to promote Monte-Carlo as a tourist destination, it sees competitors gather in Monaco after starting from various European cities. Though primarily an asphalt event, unpredictable mountain weather brings a mix of snow, ice, and dry roads, sometimes all within the same stage.
